My hobbies are swimming and photography. I started swimming at the age of seven.
I was a competitive swimmer for many years and am still a masters swimmer at 60.
My father owned a photography shop in Frankfurt am Main.
When I was eight years old, he gave me a Rollei 35 so I could learn photography properly.
Photography became my favorite hobby.
After school, I trained as an industrial clerk and then worked for 20 years in my father's shop, selling cameras and taking photos in the studio (portraits, weddings, families, children).
However, my true passion lies in nature, sports, animal, and wildlife photography.
Since 1996, I have spent most of my vacations photographing wildlife in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
I enjoy sharing my art with people who are also interested in nature, sports, animal and wildlife photography, and I would like to give them the opportunity to purchase my art.
