Mel FUGER

FaSelf-taught artist born in Paris in France, Mel FUGER will begin very young to be interested in Art in general such as drawing, painting, but also colors, because from her earliest childhood, she colored characters while she did not yet know Andy Warhol.
Around the age of 15, she turned to airbrushing and was again interested in portraiture and for her first creation, she made Vanessa Paradis, who was 15 years old at the time, and sent her through mutual friends.
Mel FUGER painted real canvases for four years, mostly abstract, then very quickly became interested in the computer world and the multiple possibilities that this machine could provide as a creation.
At that moment, her passion for digital art began and in particular this infinite possibility of multiplying the colors and tones that she would add to her creations.
She taught herself to use a graphic palette, software and she ended up creating her own style in 2008 which she called pop splash at the time, which consisted of mixing real painting with digital art and above all to make portraits of models in ultra-bright colors which at the time will be shocking, because in the world of Art in FRANCE, Digital Art was nothing in the eyes of artists, there was no talent, no imagination...
From there, the Artist, disappointed by all these doors that were closing, will continue to create, but no longer wants to have anything to do with gallery owners.
After a few years, Mel Fuger returns more determined than ever to once again create colorful portraits for the enjoyment of her admirers.
