Artist words
Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American crime film directed by Quentin Tarantino. This film is seen as the best film Quentin Tarantino has made and as the founder of postmodern film. Pulp Fiction is therefore seen by critics as one of the best films and a milestone in film history. Vincent & Jules Two hitmen, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), have to recover a briefcase for their employer Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). Vincent has just returned from Amsterdam and expresses his amazement at the fact that people in the Netherlands put mayonnaise on chips and that coffee shops are a familiar sight in the street scene. Casually they drop in on the trio that has Marsellus' suitcase. They are about to eat a burger menu of "Big Kahuna Burger" and after some intimidating small talk about the stolen money and about burgers, Jules asks if he can taste the burger and soda. Jules and Vincent kill a companion of Brett's and then Brett himself, but not before Jules delivers his traditional "Ezekiel 25:17" speech.
