This led to some barbies, barbed wire and even an old chair serving as my first canvases. My goal was less to come to terms with a traumatic childhood, as my art teacher assumed, and more to shock through my art - perhaps the rebellious spirit in me.

Why do I paint what I paint today? Basically, I paint what brings me joy. Often it is plants or animals, especially birds and fish, that fascinate me. However, my pictures are never photorealistic, but always have a certain abstraction. I paint things the way I want to see them - rarely in black and white.

Birds are my greatest passion and therefore frequent motifs in my works. I always symbolically carry four of them with me and dream of one day paragliding through the air with vultures or cranes.
Until this moment I paint the world as it corresponds to my ideas.
