I deliberately reduce my characters to a few expressive elements: large, questioning eyes, clear shapes, and a posture that subtly suggests inner uncertainty or curiosity.

By employing earthy color palettes, striking contrasts, and rich textures reminiscent of vintage picture books, I aim to eliminate superfluous details so that the essential qualities can emerge more vividly. Children, in particular, often discern the hidden narratives and unspoken questions within my works, as they instinctively appreciate the value of the inexplicable and the mysterious.

My prints find their homes in various settings: in children’s rooms, where they spark dreams; in living rooms, where they whisper quiet tales; and in waiting rooms and libraries, where they offer a moment of pause and a glimpse into another realm. For me, it is those inconspicuous instances between momentous events that reveal life’s true mystery and poetry. By intentionally leaving certain questions unanswered, I invite viewers to become active participants, discovering personal meaning in these in-between spaces.
