Beskrivning
This painting is inspired by the painting style of Giovanni Antonio Canal commonly known as Canaletto, was an Italian painter from the Republic of Venice, considered an important member of the 18th-century Venetian school. Canaletto was a sophisticated and prolific Italian painter known primarily for his clear topography of Venice, Rome and London. More than just a formula guildsman, there is a unique quality to his work that can be attributed to the fact that he is able to seamlessly blend real and imaginary words to a captivating effect. His 'touristy' paintings, much sought after by the traveling upper class, were meticulously prepared, with the primary concern being for compositional harmony rather than dogmatic geographic accuracy. In his later career Canaletto supplemented his paintings with an important series of "real-time" paintings of such high quality that they influenced the next generation of British landscapers.
