"My, to this day, mightiest encounter with a wild lynx. The picture is taken an afternoon in October a few years ago as I was out looking for signs of lynx. The wind played among the trees and the yellow and orange leaves danced around me. A leaf was what I thought I saw, in the corner of my eye, disappearing behind a rock. My gut told me to investigate further though. I moved as quietly i could towards the crest where I've seen the movement and on the other side the beauty that is in this picture stood just that way waiting for me. We shared a three minute moment of mutual respect before the cat slowly wandered off - but not without turning around a couple of times. "
