"Just before the Christmas holidays in 1982, I can promise that the next every kid out on the schoolyards ran around with a forefinger in the air and hissed: -E.T. phone home, with a hoarse and a little whispering voice. I remember sitting and crying in the cinema darkness over the fate of the little spacecreature, and when the children in the film then managed to help him return, it was more than my 10-year-old heart could handle. I stayed in the cinema until it was empty before I sobbed and went out into the foyer to find a whole flock of crying kids who were comforted by friends and their parents. A classic movie character who in my motif was accompanied by a classic swedish phone to call home with. "
