"Karlskrona naval port 1982 with the torpedo boat HMS Västerås and it's sister ship Nynäshamn. The negative has some spots of dust (I have now - 2011-06 - removed the dust spots and also made som image corrections), but I would still like to show the photo, because it conveys the feeling of entering the military service in the Swedish navy 1981. The Russian submarine U137 would run aground the same year and the crisis in Poland was upcoming with anticipated refugees overseas."
