"Have you heard of the mysterious Great Blue Hole? It looks like a portal to an unknown world, but it's just a sinkhole (a big hole formed when the soil collapses. Like the one in front of the market in São Mateus ... Kkkkkkk 😂). UNESCO World Heritage Site, this huge crater in the middle of the ocean, is 300m wide and 125m deep. It is located on the Caribbean islands. About 80km off the coast of Belize, Central America. It is a place highly sought after by professional divers. Only these can descend to explore its interior. At a certain depth, there is no more oxygen, as there is no water circulation, with this, several marine species are fossilized at the bottom of the hole. The first person to find this beauty, was the researcher Jacques Cousteau in 1971. Unfortunately, on one of these expeditions, several plastic bottles were found at the bottom. And also 2 divers who disappeared a long time ago and are still there today. ...... This series of paintings, I tried to create on top of curiosities of ocean life. This subject has always fascinated me since I was younger. I saw many documentaries on Discovery about it and always wanted to see places like this."
