Karin Karlsson

It consists of moments and breaths. Most of them pass by quite unnoticed, but sometimes they grab hold of us. A brief second when life itself makes us lose our breath. A breathtaking feeling that opens up for something bigger. Something beyond ourselves. A small detail or a magnificent view. Something that shakes us or make us calm. A feeling to carry with you and live by.

Words are rarely enough to describe those moments, a picture can capture a small glimse of what it is about. These are the moments I try to capture in my photos. I hope that when you see them, you will sense something of what I experienced the moment they were taken, that they will open up something within you.


My name is Karin Karlsson. Photography is one of my great interests. Besides photography, I like the sea and the forest, work out at the gym, reading books and to eat chocolate. I am a teenage parent and a priest. I also write columns in the local press.
