I began photography as a hobby in the late 1990s, but in 2014 I finally found the courage to start sharing my work on my Facebook page, Kirsti.fi Photography (formerly Photos By Kirsti).
Soon I realized that what had started as a hobby had grown into a lifestyle and a true passion.
I mainly photograph nature and animals — subjects that are closest to my heart.
I am also fascinated by long exposure techniques and the calm, magical atmosphere they create.
I carry my camera with me wherever I go — you never know when the perfect moment or scene will appear.
