Rosana Laiz Blursbyai
Czech Republic
Rosana has been drawing since childhood, initially sketching medieval princesses and later transitioning to fashion designs as a teenager.
While studying architecture, she focused on buildings and street views, though the extreme weather in Valladolid made outdoor sketching challenging.
Her first year of architecture was memorable, especially sketching Greek and Roman statues with charcoal and pastels.
Surrounded by artsy friends and family, she credits them with shaping her creative process.
Rosana’s work is diverse and eclectic, embracing a variety of mediums.
She favors minimalism in type-based design and uses vibrant colors and bold strokes in her paintings.
Her digital illustrations follow a modern aesthetic, emphasising solid colors and clean, simple shapes.
