Over the years, she has explored various mediums such as watercolor, oil, and acrylic. Although she enjoys working with all of them, acrylic has become her favorite due to its versatility, vibrant color, and fast drying time, which allows her to follow the creative flow and build up layers without long interruptions.

​Her artwork is characterized by dreamlike and emotional landscapes that often feature forests, lakes, and celestial skies. Many pieces are enriched with golden details and a touch of mystery. On her website, you’ll find works like Wherethewaterspeaks, with a wolf-like figure in a sacred forest, Pink Magic Forest with golden leaves, and Turquoise Forest, all capturing moments of stillness, inner peace, and spiritual presence.

Rivera paints intuitively, letting each piece be guided by the feeling of the moment. In works like My Silver Lining and Whispers of Dawn, she combines natural scenery with symbolic elements such as sheep, skies, and crows, expressing themes of hope, trust, and inner strength.
