Madeleine Elgemyr

I found photography through my longing to hike in the mountains, alone in the wild. I take pictures to save the joy and stillness I feel in Lapland and Jämtland in the north of Sweden, where my roots are, in the Norwegian mountains and fjords, and in the nature around Stockholm where I live.
