Madeleine Elgemyr

I found photography through my longing to hike in the mountains, alone in the wild. I take pictures to save the joy and stillness I feel in Lapland, Härjedalen and Jämtland in the north of Sweden, where my roots are, and also in the nature around Stockholm, where I live.
