My name is Rob de Vries, Dutch Photorealistic painter. I love to spend hours working on the smallest details in a painting.
I make my paintings in oil with only five different colours plus white, with these I can mix hundreds of hues and tints.

Each painting takes several months to complete.
With my recent series I try to bring long-forgotten memories back to life. Paintings of precious childhood objects, larger than life size in bright, happy colours.
