"The western part of Berlin is also worth visiting and "Ku'damm" is the heart of it. The landmark of Ku'damm is the Kaiser-Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche, which was destroyed in WWII. However it was decided to leave the church tower as a memorial against wars and to rebuilt a new church building next to it from 1959-1963 in a modernist style. For me as a child this ensemble was remarkable and was my first awareness that there is something like war. I couldn't understand back then why such beautiful buildings get destroyed. Little did I know. I really hope following the news that we can save peace in Europe and especially in Ukraine...did history didn't taught us anything in regards to wars? I wanted to capture that ensemble of buildings, which reminds me of my childhood. "

Please note that when a print is mounted to a matching passepartout, we secure it with framing tape, making it difficult to replace the print in the future.

Frames are available in all standard sizes: 8" × 12", 12" × 16", 18" × 24", 20" × 28", 24" × 36", 28" × 40" and the measurements refer to the size of prints it fits.
For sizes up to 20" × 28":

For sizes up to 28" × 40":

Note that there will be a protective foil on both the front-and backside of the glass that needs to be removed for best experience and crystal clear looking glass.
