SARA KÄLLBERG is a Stockholm's based artist, creating big contemporary abstract pieces under the pseudonym OBSKYR. Starting to establish herself in the local art scene, recently participating in key local exhibitions, as well as exhibiting abroad.
Her works are expressive and rich in contrast, often with integrated text or symbols.
The technique is raw, rather than refined.
"I have a strong preference for things that are rough, odd and slightly broken.
Things that are too neat drives me a bit insane."
A bit chaotic and far from linear painting process tend to result in paintings with many layers - you can often glimpse old sins and mistakes beneath the new.
Even though her first exhibition took place less than two years ago, OBSKYR's art has been shown during nearly 20 exhibitions.
The vast majority local to Sweden, such as NK Stage and Affordable Art Fair, but also includes cities such as Copenhagen and Seoul.
