"This painting was sketched end of fall 2018- a turbulent period where I felt thrown into a series of events without having a say in it. I felt as being pulled, almost torn in way too many directions, and all I could do is accept and let it unfold. Being in the midst of these changes, without a clear vision of where they would lead, made it when I had come out the other end and moved past these changes into the new. Lesson learned, a lot of things are out of our control, and sometimes, even if scary and unknown, the best we can do is allow change to pull at us, do the best we can while in the midst of it and trust the process."
