“For me, painting is not just a profession, but my need, an inner dialogue. It's not about depicting
things, but about creating new realities that question the normality of the general perception of reality.
The dialogue of the existing illustration with the painting, creating a new image of reality, is the core of each picture.”
The artist KAT LASSEN has been known for her “Spy Animals” since 2015.
With a mixture of city, animal, classic oil painting, aluminum and acrylic glass prints, she combines high-contrast animals and cities to create colorful works.
KAT LASSEN's pictures are an exciting dialogue between the new and the well-known.
The "Spy Animals" reveal interesting things, especially at second glance.
