For those who have lost one baby of a pair of twins This is sad in a very special way. Because twins have a bond between them. And it seems that it is never broken, not even at the gates of life. I have read stories many times, about lonely twins, both stories where one of the twins left earth while still in the womb, and stories where the worst thing happened later in life. It is not uncommon at all that this affects the remaining twin in a way that only happens in this particular situation. The reminder is many times in the mirror. And friends and family are constantly reminded of the missing one, when they se the one that remained. There are several oranisations that help lonely twins. In some cases the loss in a lonely twin is there, even if they don't get to know what happened, until in adulthood. Then finally can they understand why this feeling has been there for all their life. Identical twins are affected the most. A gift to angel parents that lets them know that you also count the child that can no longer be seen, is heart warming. It still can't hurt any more than it already does. Love is forever mixed with pain. But nobody whant's their child to be forgotten.
