Tell me Jonas, what exactly do you do at Printler?

"I create creative content using images, film, text, 3D and animation. Every day I am inspired by working with storytelling and the design of materials that generate emotions and inspire. In addition, I work together with artists from our artist community and present our artworks in different ways."

Before joining us at Printler, Jonas worked as a digital content designer at Offecct, a company that makes design furniture for public spaces. Before that he worked as a guest photographer at the Museum Fotografiska in Stockholm, was a suggested user on Instagram and created different types of content in Sri Lanka, Iceland, Norway, Germany and Spain.

There's a big difference between a good Instagram pic and pictures that make wall art, says Jonas

"Just because a photo gets thousands of likes on Instagram doesn't mean it automatically qualifies as wall art. A picture can also be high quality from a technical point of view, but it still doesn't make it suitable as a picture on a wall. At Printler, we market art in the form of photographs, images from painting and graphic design and look at quality from different angles. It is important to us that our customers can feel the quality difference in our choice of materials and the production process - and that artists feel in safe hands. It is my job to constantly ensure that ensure that the right motifs are presented on Printler and that the artists can also tell more about their works of art: about inspiration, motivation, thoughts and feelings.

I'm more interested in how a subject feels than showing exactly what something looks like."

And there is more about Jonas:

"Besides photography, I play a lot of music, especially guitar. I recently got a 1957 Gibson acoustic. It's quite worn, hard to play, a bit loud and absolutely fantastic. It has soul. Again, that's the one for me Feeling important. I play a lot of piano and am currently exploring sound design with analog synths with lots of weird knobs, patch cords and switches. Kind of an overlap between music and sound effects. Very nerdy and very exciting.

I look forward to learning even more about the world of photography. See you there!"
